Lectrix EV – Empowering The Next Generation of Mobility: Launch of LXS G3.0 and LXS G2.0

Lectrix EV, the e-mobility arm of SAR Group, is all set to make significant strides in the EV segment. Established in 2020, the company is driven by the passion to provide reliable, innovative, and safe electric two-wheelers to consumers.

With a focus on sustainability and innovation, Lectrix EV caters to the evolving needs of the Indian EV market. The company was founded with a substantial investment of INR 300 crore and is supported by a production facility with an annual capacity of 1.5 lakh EVs. The company has already launched three two-wheeler products – Lectrix LXS, SX25 and EcityZip to magnanimous reviews last year.

Innovation, evolution, and experimentation are at the core of the company’s design philosophy. Every design at Lectrix EV undergoes multiple tests at their 86,000-square-foot state-of-the-art technology centre in Manesar. Critical technologies like BMS, IoT, and DriveTrain are tested and created in-house.

The company’s vision is to de-risk EV adoption for consumers. Lectrix EV has a Pan-India presence with 100+ dealerships and aims to launch 300 dealerships by the end of 2024.

Prioritising after-sales service, Lectrix EV is working on removing the challenges that prevent buyers from pivoting to EVs. A major part of this hesitation is the lack of a sophisticated and comprehensive service ecosystem. To combat the same, Lectrix EV offers service at every dealer location and priority at-home service with a turnaround time of 6 hours amidst other facilities.

At the pinnacle of engineering, Lectrix EV’s electric two-wheelers combine extensive knowledge of batteries and battery management systems. The state-of-the-art batteries have been tested for 2 Lac kilometres in real-world conditions. Supported by more than three decades of experience from the SAR Group, Lectrix EV plans to add a wide range of electric two-wheelers to its portfolio.

The EV segment is witnessing massive growth in India owing to green resolutions and the need to combat climate change. Besides offering monetary savings, EVs also aid in-vehicle connectivity and a better driving experience with advanced analytics. Cognizant of the same, Lectrix EV has a keen focus on technology and innovation. It aims to disrupt the electric scooter segment with technologically advanced products provided at affordable prices.
