NORD DRIVESYSTEMS at SPS “Inspiring discussions, valuable contacts”

Three intensive days on the topic of efficient drive solutions for the automation industry: Drive specialist NORD DRIVESYSTEMS successfully attended the SPS trade fair in Nuremberg.

The SPS – smart production solutions 2023 trade fair in Nuremberg ended with a significant increase in visitor numbers compared with the previous year. NORD, too, draws a very positive conclusion to the event.

“We had inspiring discussions with many customers and prospects, and made valuable contacts”, Jörg Niermann, Head of Marketing at NORD, points out.

    Highlights at the NORD stand:

    • The decentralised NORDAC ON frequency inverters. The NORDAC ON PURE version with the nsd tupH surface treatment for special hygienic requirements attracted particular interest.
    • The NORD ECO consulting service, which helps to find a particularly efficient drive solution for your

    individual applications

    • Drive solutions for the end-of-line packaging, which operate particularly economically by using controlled asynchronous drive systems with decentralised frequency inverters
    • The NORDAC PRO control cabinet inverters for powers of up to 22 kW, which provide a large variety of interfaces and functions

    Intensive exchange on customer requirements

Furthermore, we intensively exchanged information with prospects. “We found out about their requirements and pain points at first hand”, says Niermann. “We could then demonstrate them our tailor-made drive solutions for the automation industry.” Again, it has proven positive that the experts from the NORD specialist departments were also present.

In Nuremberg, NORD also presented its sustainability programme, with which the company commits itself to act in an ecologically, economically and socially responsible manner. “As a dedicated family company, we aim at continuously reducing our CO2 footprint – also with regard to future generations.”

    Great anticipation of next year

“We would like to thank all visitors to our stand for their interest”, Jörg Niermann emphasises. NORD would also like to thank the SPS team for the great organisation, and its stand team for their commitment. “We are already looking forward to next year.” Please save the date: 12–14 November 2024.
