253 EV Charging Stations will be Installed by Statiq along Four Main National Highways

Agra-Lucknow, Meerut-Gangotri, Chennai-Bellary, and Mangaldai-Wakro are the four major highway projects for which Statiq has stated that it would install approximately 253 fast chargers. The business claims that Rajasthan Electronics & Instruments Ltd. awarded it the contract (REIL).
A total of 210 fast chargers with a charging capacity of over 50 kW and an additional 43 fast chargers with a charging capacity of over 100 kW are required for the tender to accommodate 4-wheelers. Statiq will continue to maintain the equipment’s general quality and maintenance for the following three years.
Currently, Jaipur, Beawar, Jaisalmer, Udaipur, and Jodhpur all have Statiq EV charging stations.

Statiq is enthusiastic about taking part in any activities aimed at electrifying India and improving its motor options. Aman Rehman, Head- of Government Relations and Corporate Affairs, Statiq, states that the company is keeping a look out for any projects of this nature in which it might be able to participate, such as winning this crucial tender at REIL.
REIL has been highly engaged in India’s e-mobility sector, and it is an honor to win a tender with such a progressive PSU, he continued. The tremendous reach of all the chargers we will provide via the tender will span the 4 motorways. We also anticipate keeping many 4-wheelers powered up as they navigate these highways at high speeds.

As part of the FAME India Scheme Phase II, the state-owned Rajasthan Electronics & Instruments Ltd. (REIL) has been actively collaborating with the federal and state governments to establish the domestic EV charging infrastructure.

Further, it stated that REIL’s priority has been placing DC fast chargers in strategic locations to promote the adoption of EVs more quickly.
